In 2013 me and my guitarist friend Bragi Bragason started working together on songs and lyrics. Early that same autumn we pulled another guitarist friend of ours, Bjorn Thor Johannsson into the mix and soon there after Arni Thrainsson, bass player, and Stefan Orn Sveinsson, drummer, were added to the group. We soon realized that the cooperation would be fun and fruitful and within a year (and having consumed a lot of coffee) Collective already had 12 quality 'prog metal' songs to our name.
In the autumn of 2018 our first 10 song EP titled 'Truth Awaking' was published.
